Aims and Objectives
This workshop built on previous learning around self-awareness, communication and thriving teams, introducing self-leadership, leadership styles and customer service to strengthen each staff member’s ability to take personal responsibility and contribute positively to client relationships.
Workshop Overview
Staff revisited personality traits, the Johari Window and communication principles before exploring the 10 pillars of self-leadership: self-awareness, purpose, responsibility, discipline, integrity, learning, emotional intelligence, resilience, initiative and service. The team then explored eight leadership styles using the Tuschemy Leadership Window — reflecting on their natural style, the style their role requires and areas for growth.
Customer service brought it all together. Through role-play and card-based learning, staff practised listening, empathy, professionalism, ownership and follow-through — guided by the principle that underpins everything Tuschemy does:
“We don’t just deliver chemicals. We deliver service, reliability and trust.”
Key Insights
The direct connection between self-leadership and customer experience was a standout learning — how managing your own emotions, taking ownership and adapting your communication directly influences how clients feel. The workshop also highlighted the increased demands of telephone communication, where active listening becomes critical without visual cues.
Outcomes
Strong engagement, rapport and camaraderie throughout the day provided a positive foundation — and a clear signal that this team is ready for the next stage of their development journey.
