CARBOFF is a low foaming powder, alkaline cleaner used remove grease, oil, fat, and protein soil in the food-processing industry. The product has been accepted by NSF for use in soak tanks or with steam or mechanical cleaning devices(A2) in and around food processing areas, where its use is not intended for direct food contact.
