NEUTRALIZED SULPHITE OXYGEN SCAVENGER

STEAMCLEAR 100 is a neutral pH boiler water, oxygen scavenger, which when added to boiler feed water removes dissolved oxygen. STEAMCLEAR 100 contains
an alkalinity builder that increases the pH, so as to aid mixing of the products and allow for one-shot dosing. By acting as an oxygen scavenger, the product is used to control corrosion and pitting caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen. This product has been accepted by NSF for treating boilers or steam lines where steam produced may contact edible products and/or cooling systems where the treated water may not contact edible products in and around food processing areas (G6). The product has also been accepted as a compound for the treatment of entire potable water systems(G1) in official establishments in and around food processing areas.

STEAMCLEAR 100 is listed as a food safe product under NSF Non-Food Compounds G1, G6.
