Management Team

Aims and Objectives

This workshop formed part of Tuschemy’s Development and Empowerment Series and aimed to strengthen teamwork, clarify roles, and develop the skills, attitudes and values that define a thriving leadership team through experiential learning and collaboration.

Workshop Overview

Using the Toyota Kata process, the team tackled timed puzzle-building challenges that required constant strategy refinement and clear communication. They assessed a bank of twenty teamwork traits individually before collaborating on a shared set of values. The team then designed a Management logo — resulting in lively discussion and a final concept reflecting their role in uniting and empowering Tuschemy towards its vision and mission. The workshop closed with a team affirmation exercise and a cross-departmental competition against the Office and Sales teams involving construction duplication, puzzle racing, and a tallest tower challenge.

Key Insights

The Management team reached strong consensus on the six hallmarks of a thriving team: a clear plan of action, defined roles, effective communication, clear goals, monitoring of progress, and discipline. Their puzzle results showed significant improvement by round three as strategies sharpened and roles became better defined.

Outcomes

The affirmation exercise brought the workshop to a meaningful close, with team members reflecting on what they value most about being part of the Management team:
“We all are different and bring this to the party.”
“The personal growth, respect, fun — and we evolve together.”
“The support we give to each other.”
